Heritage Apple Trees
I’ve now got apple trees ready for sale. I bring a couple of trees to the market each week, but if you want a particular tree, click here to see the list of available varieties and email me at roz@rozcorum.co.uk.
Like all my plants, they're tough. All the trees are grafted at my nursery, from my own trees, on a choice of rootstocks. The trees are pot-grown outside, in the open air. The only thing that gets sprayed on to these trees is rainwater. No pesticides, No toxic chemicals.
They will settle in to new ground with minimal check (unlike bare root trees). Some are already flowering, so within one or two years you’ll be picking the first of your own apples. I grow around 50 different apple varieties (and more are on the way). I’ve chosen my favourites for beautiful blossom and delicious flavour.
They’re all old or unusual species. You won't find these varieties in the supermarkets, despite their superior flavour, because they aren’t uniform, don’t travel well, or aren’t bland enough!
I have a choice of cookers, eaters and dual-purpose apples. Some are perfect for smaller gardens; some are more vigorous and will eventually give a tree that the kids can climb. I can help you choose a tree to suit your garden.
Taste apples picked straight from the tree, and discover what you’ve been missing!
